Primeleaf Consulting today announce the availability of the new and improved KRYSTAL DMS - Enterprise Edition Version 5.0.
Each new release of KRYSTAL DMS brings new features and product improvements. The following is a summary of the new or improved features that were added in the KRYSTAL DMS - Enterprise Edition Version 5.0 release that support the implementation of the paperless office.
Included in this release is :
NEW - Global Search
Users can now search across all the document classes (folders) and across all index fields using a simple search function, right from the workspace.
Enhanced Document Viewer - with Microsoft Office and Open Office Document Support
KRYSTAL DMS - Enterprise Edition is bundled with enhanced KRYSTAL - Document Viewer 4.0 , a product that provides secure and faster document retrieval with annotation and rubberstamp capabilities.
KRYSTAL DMS - Enterprise Edition now supports Microsoft Office and Open Office Documents. Users can now use KRYSTAL - Document Viewer to view and annotate documents in Microsoft Office and Open Office Document formats.
NEW - Move Document Feature
Users can now move a document from one document class to another using this new feature of the system. Users can move the initial version of the document along with all matching index fields from one document class to another.
NEW - Export document as PDF
KRYSTAL DMS - Enterprise Edition now allows its users to export / download the document file like JPG,PNG , BMP , TIFF , DOC, XLS , PPT etc as a PDF document.
NEW - Access Restrictions
Administrator can now restrict the access to a particular domain (repository) using IP Addresses. Administrator need to enter a range of IP address for which s/he wants to restrict the access to a domain.
NEW & Enhanced - User Interface
The latest version provides rich user interface and easy navigation. The new workspace screen allows users to access document classes, views , document sets and workqueues from single location.
Document class usage and statistics are now displayed in graphs to enhance management view of the system.
NEW & Enhanced - Browser Support
The following browsers are supported in KRYSTAL DMS -- Enterprise Edition Version 5.0 :
- Internet Explorer 7.x, 8.x, and 9.x (32 bit and 64 bit)
- Mozilla FireFox 4.0 and 5.0
- Google Chrome 10.x to 13.x
- Safari 5.1 (Tested on Windows & Mac both)
NEW & Enhanced - Tomcat 6.0 Engine
KRYSTAL DMS -- Enterprise Edition Version 5.0 now comes equipped with Tomcat 6.0.
