PDF Manipulation NEW
KRYSTAL DMS 2020 now allows users with revision control rights to perform editing tasks on PDF documents online. Users can Append Pages, Insert Pages or Delete Pages from existing documents if s/he has permissions for the same.
KRYSTAL DMS automatically generates a new version of the document once the operation of manipulation of PDF is complete.

Brute Force Attack Prevention NEW
KRYSTAL DMS users can now actively protect systems against repeated unsuccessful login attempts, known as "brute force" login attacks.
It is possible to now to enable brute force login protection on your KRYSTAL DMS Application server by detecting repeated authentication failures in application logs. Once repeated login failures have been detected, you can set up an automated system to ban access to your server from that user for specific amount of time and lockout the account.

Document Class Dashboard NEW
KRYSTAL DMS users can now access a pre-configured Dashboard for each Document Class. Complete details about the document and workflow cases associated with document class are depicted in this new module of KRYSTAL DMS
It provides users with infomration such as Document Created by Date, Documents Expiring by Date, Document Created by Users, Workflow Cases in progress and completed and many more details.
Reports ENHANCED

Value Based Authorization NEW
The earlier version of KRYSTAL DMS provides authorization based on actions only, now with new release, administrators can assign access to the users bases on the index fields associated with a document.
Administrators can now assign access to specific documents to specific users based on index values assigned to the document. This will enhance the security and maintenance of the Documents within a document class. Users now need not access multiple document classes which are stored based on different categories or meta-data fields.
Document Viewer for HTML and EML files NEW
The built-in Document Viewer of KRYSTAL DMS now supports on-line viewing of HTML as well as EML (Email) files.

We have enhanced our Document Viewer and now it has capabilities for annotating a document on web browser. Users can draw annotations like highlights, blackouts, sticky notes, ellipse and rubber stamps on the document without disturbing the original document.
Instant text extraction on Upload NEW
The content / text extraction is now initiated as soon as the document is uploaded. Earlier it full text content extraction was carried out at scheduled interval. Now with this new functionality, users will be able to search contents of the document as soon as it is available in document repository
Recent Searches NEW
When you perform a search in the global search bar, recent search activity appears on your workspace. Only users can see their recent searches. Once user successfully signout from the system then this searches are cleared for security purposes.
Sortable List Indexes NEW
Administrators can now define the default sorting for the List Indexes for simple search and data entry.
Enhanced - Scheduled Jobs Management
Scheduled Jobs running in KRYSTAL DMS can now be enabled or disabled by the Administrator. This function allows administrators to control jobs and run only when required.
Enhanced - Sharing of Documents
Users now get notification email as soon as the person with whom the document is shared views it. Users can now also enter their own subject lines for sharing the document. This helps user to know whether shared document is viewed / accessed by the receiver and receipent also get good idea of who shared document.

Users of KRYSTAL DMS can now message and collaborate with each other using this feature of the system. Users can now send messages to each other using @username. Each user who is mentioned in the message will also receive an email notification for the message mentioning his/her name.

KRYSTAL DMS now uses the latest cutting edge search technologies and is now powered by Apache Lucene ( A high-performance, full-featured text search engine library written entirely in Java) search engine capabilities.
